This is a pure culture of Bacillus pumillus
Sometimes they are long, sometimes they are short.
But they will always be rod shapes :)

This is what I got in coincident during doing my Final Year Project.
Was culturing Pseudomonas fluorescens (green big circle) but seems like there are contamination exist (small dots).

It become like this if view under UV lights :)
Does it looks like firefly flying to the moon?

This is the Bacillus species microbes
In rod shapes and grams positive
In rod shapes and grams positive
This is the E. coli
And this is the magnified version.
Basically now I am doing research on fermentation material for certain microbes. The material need to be cost effective and provide high colony count. Any suggestion??

This one is still unknown
Maybe yeast species?
The colony formed is widely spread on the Agar Plate

EM's Microbes

It seems like these two/three microbes living together on symbiosis relationships
One is bigger and in oval shapes, while another type is rod shape and smaller microbes.
For those rod shape microbes there were purple and pink microbes.
Wondering if the pink one is actually the spore of the purple bacteria.
Cannot do the identification as I don't have spore staining dye in my lab~
Belows are the picture of microbes at different focal length.

New morphology's microbes
>> Tuesday, December 23, 2008
In this picture there were 2 types of microbes based on their morphology.
One is cocci shape and another type is larger and oval shape~
Any microbiologist know what they are? ;p
Appreciate for your advice~

This is what I observed from the fermented fruits culture.
Is there more than 1 types of microbes?
